Terrance "Terry" L. Pearson, 75, of Bartlett; loving husband of Teresa, nee Earl; beloved father of Chris, Tracy (Mark) Marando and Jeffrey (Robyn); proud grandfather of Nicholas, Courtney, Alyssa, Abigail and Emersyn; fond brother of Rick (Trudy), Tish (Tom) Jepsen and the late Carol (late Sam) Vecchio; devoted son of the late Lyman and Beatrice Pearson, nee Hardy; cherished uncle of many.
 
 Terrance (Terry) Pearson was a beloved husband to his wife Teresa for 50 years.  Loving father and grandfather to his 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
 
 Terry cherished his time with his grandchild most of all, playing board games, card or just watching them dance.  Terry loved to travel, visiting many states in the U.S and countries in Europe.  His favorite was Italy, especially Naples and Amalfi coast.
 
 Terry served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.   He was stationed in Naples Italy.  Hence the love of traveling to Italy.
 
 After serving in the military, he returned to college and graduated from South Suburban College with an Associate Degree and met the love of his life and voted “Most likely to marry a girl who had the same first name as his ‘cause it’s easier to remember”, Terri.
 
 Terry was a loyal employee at United Airlines for 45 years.   He had a passion for working at the airport. That he passed along to his children.  His love for feeding others led him to set up a breakfast café (Che’ Terry) for his fellow colleagues.
 
 Terry was active in volunteering his time to many groups.  He devoted his time to St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Carol Stream were served on several committees and ministries.  He founded the We Care ministry that delivered flowers to church members during difficult times as well as joyful events.   Also spent time at the Senior Center in Hanover Park.  He spent countless years coaching his children’s baseball and softball team, along with Cub Scouts.
 
 Terry's favorite thing to do was watch Hallmark movies.   The romantic that he was loved wholesome love stories and romantic comedies.  Also 50’s TV shows (M.A.S.H, Perry Mason, were his favorites)
 
 The “Social Butterfly” that everyone knew lived a full and loving life.   His enormous heart was instantly recognized the minute that anyone ever met him.  Terry will live on forever in the hearts of every person he has ever encountered, from family, friends, acquaintances, and even the waitress at the restaurant that he made sure to get their name.
 
 Visitation Monday, April 5th, 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett.  Memorial service Tuesday, April 6th, 10:00 am at Saint Andrew United Methodist Church 250 N. Gary Avenue Carol Stream, Il.
