Teresa Hill, nee Johnson, 55, of Roselle, IL passed away on Friday June 7th 2024. She is survived by her loving husband Alister, and her sisters Victoria (Jonathan), Suzanne, and Michelle, and her brother Steven (Shameka). She was preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Mary, nee Lahman. She dedicated her life to the blessing of others, and has left behind a long line of former band, Sunday School, summer camp, and other students, many of whom grew to call her friend as well as teacher. As well as loving her fellow humans, she also loved animals of all sorts, and often said she was taught a lot by being 'mother' to a string of stubborn dachshunds.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 551 N. Rush Street, Itasca on Wednesday, July 10 2024 at 10:00 am. A private Inurnment for family will be held at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Wheaton. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one or more of Second City Canine Rescue, The Gentle Barn, or Lake Geneva Youth Camp - who are creating a sponsorship in her memory.
