Sylvia Harris

Sylvia Susan Harris, nee Sappenfield, age 68. Loved mother of Cynthia (Patrick) Guldan, Richard (Kara) Morris, Angela and Nicole (George) DeKasha. Fond sister of Kent (Gwen) Sappenfield. Worlds-best grandmother of Hannah, Ryan, Andrew, Michael, Jack, Samuel, Amelia and Evelyn. Beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Althea, her sister, Vicki Kaser, and two grandchildren, Grace and Lawrence. Susan's legacy is the magnitude of her warmth and spirit. She enjoyed needlework and reading, and she had a wonderful eye for color, but her greatest passion was her children and grandchildren, whom she adored and who loved her dearly in return.

Memorial visitation Wednesday, January 18th 3:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service 8:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to Children’s Memorial Hospital, Children's Memorial Foundation, Department 4589, Carol Stream, IL 60122 would be appreciated.
