Susan Witt

November 12, 1956 — February 12, 2023

Susan “Susie” Barbara (Mikulan) Witt, 66, of Streamwood Illinois, passed away on February 12, 2023.

Susie was born to Anton and Sylvia (Saliukas) Mikulan on November 12,1956 in Cicero, Illinois. Susie married the love of her life, David, in 1979 and had two wonderful sons, Ryan and Erich (Dainelle). Susie worked as a para-educator for many years in District U-46 before her retirement in 2014.

Susie truly lived life to the fullest and found enjoyment in the simplest of things. Susie was always outside tending to her gardens filled with many plants and flowers. She loved a good glass of red wine, shopping in the “cute stores,” feeding and watching the wildlife and spending time at their cabin in Wisconsin.

Susie is the cherished Grandmother of Everett, Soot the pig, and many other “grandpets.” She is the dear sister of Tony (Maria) Mikulan and Michael (Sharon) Mikulan, loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and a friend to many.

Friends, family and anyone who would like to share a memory of Susie are invited to Susie’s Celebration of Life open house which will be held on June 10, 2023, from 1:00pm-5:00pm in her beautiful gardens located at: 213 West Kennedy Drive, Streamwood, IL 60107
