Susan “Sue” Kathleen Ladeau (nee Fulton), 65, of South Elgin passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2015. Sue was the beloved mother of Jen (Eric) Edenburn, Jodi (Lars) Schweig, and Dave (Natalie) Enger; loving “Gramma-Gramma” of Brianna, Hannah, Madelyn, Ethan, Riley, Teyah, Christian, and Juliana; loving sister of Robert “Bob” Fulton II and the late Judy (Dick) Wendt; proud aunt of Bob, Kevin, Brian, Doug, and Kris.
Family was everything to Sue. She worked hard her whole life to provide a good future for her kids. She was very proud of the fact that all three of her children graduated college, have happy kids and found success in their lives. More than anything, though, she loved and lived for her eight grandchildren. Sue loved taking them places, like Florida, the zoo, the pool, or the racetrack, and enjoyed attending softball games and school functions. Sue also relished time with her friends, whether a short visit, a weekend trip, or a casino night. Sue adored her two cats, two of the most spoiled cats you’d ever meet! And of course, she loved the Chicago Bears!
An open memorial visitation for Sue will be held Sunday, June 28th beginning at 3:00pm until the time of liturgy service at 7:30pm, located at Countyside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 S. Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) in Bartlett. Cremation took place privately at Countryside Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, Sue would have appreciated a kind donation for the animals in the care of Fox Valley Animal Welfare League in North Aurora (fvawl.org).
