Susan Kizman

Susan L Kizman (Sue), 75, of Elgin sadly passed away peacefully on 5/14/22 after a brief illness. Sue is survived by Brother Bil Herod, Son Mike (Laura), Grandchildren Mia, Ella, Hanna and Evan, and Daughter Wendy (Steve) as well as Nephews Bill (Angel), Scott (Elizabeth) and grand nephews Bill III, Scotty, Zachary and grand nieces Brooke and Annabelle. Sue was a dear friend to many.
Visitation Friday, May 20th, 1:00 pm until time of service 4:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Sue was born in Chicago and after graduating from Kelvyn Park HS, went on to study at Wright College and eventually obtained her Masters Degree. She worked in Human Resources for many years before retiring. Sue enjoyed traveling the world with friends and was an avid reader and life long learner. In her retirement years she returned to college to take courses in Human Services.
Sue was young at heart. She most enjoyed spending time with her beloved Grandchildren, and attending all their sporting events and activities. Grammy’s house was always a favorite for sleepovers!
