Susan Dombeck

December 27, 1950 — June 2, 2025

Susan M. Dombeck (nee: Majszak), beloved wife of John; loving mother of Steve Dombeck, Dave (Denisse) Dombeck and Jennifer (Bill) Schiavone; dear grandmother of David Jr., Nicholas, Alex, Brendan, Will and Katie; fond daughter of the late James and Ethel Majszak; caring sister of Eleanor (Howard) Rosenberg and Barbara Claussen and aunt of Beckie (Mike) Libeau, Aaron (Debbie) Rosenberg and Anne (Joe) Streletsky; She loved all of her aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives in England. She will also be greatly missed by her lifelong friends Marge(the late Alan) Trueblood, Rosemary (Jim) Fermo and her dogs Maddie and Lucy.

Sue worked for Jewel Osco for over thirty years and also coached girls softball in Carol Stream. She also enjoyed television, board games, gardening, travel and sports.

Memorial visitation Monday June 16, 2025 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Homes and Crematory, 333 South Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral at the funeral home Tuesday June 17, 2025 at 11:00am. Inurnment to follow in Mt. Emblem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan's name to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
