Susan D. Carlson, 69, of South Elgin, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Born October 4, 1956, in Chicago. Susan was an angel of a person who always put others first. She loved interior decorating, crafts and cooking. She will be missed by her family. Beloved wife of 50 years to Earl; loving mom of Stephen (Laura) Carlson, Spencer Carlson and Martin (Alexia) Jacobson; cherished grandma of Amelia; caring daughter of the late William and Ruth Jawor and kind sister of Sharon (Ed) Janis, Colleen (Late Michael) Ball and the late William Jawor. Visitation 3:00pm to 8:00pm with a service at 5:00pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 S Gilbert St (at State St), South Elgin. Following the service cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
