Susan Bethke

Susan B. Bethke (Rager), 62, of Sun Prairie, WI, formerly of Elgin, went home to Heaven on Tuesday, January 23th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Elgin on November 14, 1955 and attended Larkin High School. Susan enjoyed gardening, cooking, and being with family. She was devoted to her children and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her 4 children, Jessica (Eric) Holliday, Jacob (Alicia) Bethke, Zach Bethke and Rachel (Tanner) Martin; her mother, Jane Rager; her 3 sisters, Christine (Rodney) Cavitt, Carol (Roger) LaRoche, and Joanna (Jeff) Norden; and her 4 grandchildren, Tatum, Abigail, Theodore and Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bethke and her father, James Rager. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, February 3rd at Countryside Funeral Home, 95 S Gilbert St, South Elgin from 1:00 pm until time of the service at 3:00 pm.
