Steven Miressi

Steven F. Miressi of Bartlett formerly of Bellwood; beloved husband of Lorna (nee Willerton), whom he married in 1977; loving father of Stephanie (Aaron) Tappan; cherished grandfather of Asher; dear brother of Ann (Ron) Barger; the late Mary Turner, Kathy Boege and Margaret Miressi; son of the late John and Frances (nee Butkus); many nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed fishing trips to Wisconsin and Canada; traveling all over the country. He was a tireless volunteer at Resurrection Parish focusing his energy on the arts and environment, K of C and mission trips to Greenwood, Ms. and anywhere else someone needed a hand. He could build anything and fix everything; dedicated employee of CA, inc. in Lisle for 30+ years as a systems programmer / tech support; great sense of humor, caring, compassionate personality. Being a grandpa / "cranpa" brought tremendous joy to his life. Steve will be missed by many but never forgotten.

Visitation Wednesday, November 5th 3-9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Thursday, 10:15 a.m. to Resurrection Church.
