Steven Block

Steven S. Block, 65, of Roselle, died Friday, August 19, 2022. Born August 12, 1957, in Evanston. Steve was an avid Las Vegas Raiders fan who enjoyed comic books, especially the character Wolverine. He loved being outdoors, a good mind for trivia, a great sense of humor and was very kind. He will be missed by his family and Friends. Beloved husband of 41 years to Shirley Block (nee Borms); loving dad of Derek (Michelle) Block and Michelle (Richard) Chester; cherished grandpa of Mason, Ryland, Evelyn and Julia; dear son of the late Charles and Sandra Block; kind brother of Keith (Sandy) and Cindy (Dan) Bolda and caring uncle of Kyle, Kendyl, Rachel, Danny, Stacy and Samantha. Memorial visitation 10:00 am until time of service 12:00 pm Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd, Roselle. Cremation was private at the Countryside Crematory.
