Steve Ribarits

Steve Joseph Ribarits, 62, of Bartlett passed away at home. Born July 16, 1947 in Sopron, Hungary. He was the son of Steve and Anna (Nee Ruzsak). A veteran of the U S Army, Steve enjoyed reading, cooking, listening to music and watching all sports. He especially enjoyed being with his family.
Survivors include children Christine (Rod) O’Dell, Eric and Julia; grandchildren Nevan and Skylar; sister Gisell (Richard) Wien, Anna (Gregg) Cygnar and Mary Meyer; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Monday, March 29, 2010 from 10a.m. until time of Mass, 11a.m. at St. Hubert, 729 Grand Canyon Street, Hoffman Estates. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery immediately following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established. Arrangements are being handled by Countryside Funeral Homes, Bartlett.
