Stephen "Steve" Mckenney

Stephen P. "Steve" McKenney, 72, of South Elgin, formerly of Sandwich, IL, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2025. Steve was a devout animal lover and enjoyed reading, especially Westerns. He was most fond of sharing family time with his family. Beloved husband of Brenda (nee Wilson); loving father of Shannon (Andrew) Burless, Nicole (Eduardo) Rodriguez, Stephen McKenney, and Maureen Jackson; proud Papa of Oliver; dear brother of James (Esther) McKenney, William Ruddle, and Michael Ruddle; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Vistation Saturday, June 28 from 11:00am until time of service 1:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert St. (at State St.), South Elgin.
