Stephen D. Kirkby of Bartlett; beloved husband of Karen nee Pearson; loving father of David Kirkby of Bartlett, MaryBeth (Tim) Moran of Wheaton, Jennifer Kirkby of Bartlett, Carolyn Kirkby of Kenosha, WI and stepfather of Brandon Bosch; cherished grandfather of Trent, Katie, A.J., Shannon and Jackson; dear brother of Sandra (Barry ) Polivka.
A 1965 graduate of University of Illinois, he founded his namesake Accounting and Financial Services firm in 1970. An avid golfer he loved Arizona and his family, especially his grandkids.
Visitation Monday, 3-9 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd., (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral Tuesday, 9:45 a.m. to St. John Neumann Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. after mass cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org would be appreciated.
