Stella Vogl

Stella C. Vogl, nee Christodoulou, of Bloomingdale, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family. She was the dear sister of Kostas (Eleni) Christodoulou, Panagiota (Costas) Astrinidis, Alexandra Christodoulou and Nikos (Karen) Christodoulou; cherished daughter of the late George and Katerina Christodoulou, nee Zografos; fond aunt of many and a true friend to countless others around the world. She lives on through her children, son Chris and a daughter Katerina (Matt) Shull, whom she always put before herself. Stellas's life ended well before her time; however, she lived more in those years than most. Whether going on bike rides, walks, scenic adventures, or serving a 5 course meal as a "snack," she touched the lives of all her friends and family. She will be missed. Visitation is on Sunday April 24th 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm with Father Andrew will have a Trisagion Prayer Service, during the visitation, at 5:30 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Funeral service to be held on Monday, April 25th, 9:30 am at the Countryside Funeral Home. Interment immediately following at Assumption Cemetery, Winfield.
