Smietana; beloved husband of Josephine (nee Filar); loving father of Vicki (Richard) Casale, Kathleen (James) Bagneschi and Paul (Janet) Smietana; cherished grandfather of Michael (Celeste), Nancy (Eugene), Kimberly (Michael), Nadine, Adam, Emily and Sarah; proud great grandfather of Danny, Andy, Joey, Eric, Marc, Alec and Abigail; dear brother of the late Ted (Anna), Jean (John) Nicpon, Edward (Adele) and Helen (Eugene) Schude; son of the late Paul and Victoria Smietana; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Tuesday, April 10th from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home & Crematory, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle. Funeral Wednesday, 8:45 a.m. to Holy Ghost Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Entombment Maryhill.
