Stanley Allen Arnold, born May 1, 1930 in Oakland, California, resident of Schaumburg for 43 years, passed away on November 8, 2014.
Stanley is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clara (Maurer) Arnold, his children Sharon (Marian) Carling of Schaumburg, Daniel (Joyce) Arnold of Petersburg, NJ, and Virginia Cannes of Palatine. He is also survived by his grandchildren Stacy (Eric) Ogilvie, Daniel Brod, Amanda Arnold-Lisinski, Erick Cannes, Shelby Marie Cannes and Colleen Arnold. He is also survived by his brother Warren (Maile) Arnold of Sebastopol, CA and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stanley was predeceased by his parents Basil and Loretta (Camp) Arnold, and his sisters Barbara Howard and Betty Smith.
Stanley was a member of Glendora, California Masonic Lodge #404 F&AM for 49 years and a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Streamwood, IL. Stanley enjoyed a 41-year career with Union Oil Company of California retiring in 1989.
Graveside services will be on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 10AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Barrington, IL followed by a memorial service at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Streamwood, IL at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mission Ministry of Immanuel United Church of Christ in Streamwood, IL.
