Sophie Lesniak

Sophie Genevieve Lesniak (nee Miklas), 93, of Bartlett, died Saturday, November 28, 2020. Born November 28, 1927 in Chicago. Sophie worked for Bally Manufacturing making pinball machines. She enjoyed dancing, was very social and also spent time at senior events. She is loved and will be dearly missed. Beloved mom of Kathleen (Steven) Xanos, Mark and Christopher Lesniak; loving grandma of Samantha, Daniel, Chris, Lauren and Nicole; cherished daughter of the late John Miklas and Stefania Miklas (Czyzowski); dear sister of the late Mildred Tofel, Nora Wilhelm, Fred Miklas, Frieda Short and Joseph Miklas; caring aunt to Judy Cothard and several other nieces and nephews. Services will be held privately at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett. Interment at St Adalbert Cemetery.
