Sondra Palojarvi

Sondra Palojarvi, nee Wiseman, 73,entered eternal rest on May 13, 2014 after a battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 51 years of David R., loving mother of David A. (Cathy Gober); dear sister of Susie Wiseman of Streamwood, and Lawrence (Bonnie) Wiseman of Waterloo, IL; fond sister in law of Ruth Walden of Crawfordsville, IN, Anna Thurston and Natalie Rhea of Phoenix, AZ, Virginia Geiger of Indianappolis, IN, and John Palojarvi of Ironwood, MI. Many loving nieces and nephews; Sondra was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence, Sr. and Mary (nee Glassey), brothers Charles Wiseman and Lynn Wall.
Sondra was a registered nurse before retirement, specializing in elder care. An accomplished seamstress, she was known for whipped cream and chocolate cakes, which she baked for family celebrations.
Visitation Wednesday, May 21, 2014 3:00pm until time of service 7:30pm Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.), Schaumburg/Streamwood.
