Visitation for Shirley L. Youngberg, a resident of Chicago, will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015, 3:00pm until time of service 7:00pm, Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd)Streamwood/Schaumburg. After services, cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory.
Born July 27, 1925, Shirley died January 21, 2015. Loving daughter of the late Hans and Mabel; dear sister of Ruth (Joseph) La Grippe, Elaine (the late Ron) Kubinski, the late Jerry, the late DorothyEugene Heilig, the late Audrey George Smithers, and the late Lois (Jim) Juliano; many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Shirley was a caring, devoted sister and friend to all. Shirley worked for the Chicago Board of Education at LeMoyne Playground and was an avid Cubs fan.
