Shirley Santiago (nee Dela Merced), 67, of Bartlett, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021. A retired registered oncology nurse, Shirley was an avid gardener with a natural talent for growing plants and always loved rooting for Chicago sports teams. Beloved wife of Jaime; loving mother of Brian and Kevin (Jessica); proud grandmother of Brianna and Ashland; dear sister of Vivian (Dr. Edgardo) Correa, Dennis Dela Merced, Voltaire (Leah) Dela Merced, Nell (Dailie) Rafol, Robert (Tiffani) Dela Merced, and the late Edmund Dela Merced; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, October 17 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral Monday 10:30am.
