Shirley J. Lundgren, 76, of Wheeling died Friday, April 17, 2009. Born October 8, 1932 in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of Herbert and Hazel, nee Quattlander, Atwater. Shirley enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and was devoted to her faith.
Survivors include children Linda (George) Fanelli, Cindy (Marty) Bernau, Terri (Dave) Romani and Mark (Misty); grandchildren Dave (Rhona), Renee (Lieke), Brian (Char), Brad, Dan (Erin), Annie (Pete), Becky (Ron), Colin (Tierny), Katie, Kimmie, Carl and Joshua; great-grandchildren Elijah and Charlie; and brother Herbert (Pat) Atwater.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald and her parents.
A visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at St. Peter Lutheran, 202 E. Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg. Interment St. Peter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
