Shirley Boone

Shirley Jean Boone, a beloved homemaker, spirited personality, dancer, and singer passed away on April 19th, 2023 in West Chicago, IL. She was born on October 21st, 1940.

Shirley was an incredibly lively woman with a passion for dancing and singing. Her energy lit up the room and left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of meeting her. Shirley’s contagious personality brought joy to many and she was loved by all.

Shirley was survived by her children Phillip, Phyllis (Buzz), John, Josh, Jill, Jason, Jennifer, Jesse and her grandchildren Ethan, Vanessa, Izzabella, Eden, Aubrey, Bradley, Alexander, Corrina, Jeffrey, John Jr., Amanda, Robert, William, and April. Loving sister of Janet (the late Wade), Judy (Wayne), Stanley (Janice), Albert, Lonnie and Terri.

Though she is no longer with us in person her love will carry on through each of them.

Shirley is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ronald J. Boone who passed away in 1995 after thirty years of marriage, her daughter Julie who passed away in 2011, her dear brother Ernie Sr and sister Carol, dear parents Stanley Pukel who passed in 1966 and Jeanette Nauertz who passed in 1999.

Visitation Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00am until time of service 12:00pm noon at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd.(at Barrington Rd.), Streamwood /Schaumburg.

Shirley Jean Boone will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched but will forever be remembered as the vibrant soul who lit up every room she walked into. May her spirit rest in peace.
