Shawn J.F. Doyle

Shawn J.F. Doyle passed away Sunday May 31, 2026. Born January 4, 1975 in Maywood, IL. Shawn is preceded in death by his parents, Patricia Doyle and John “Jack” Doyle. He is survived by his siblings Theresa (Thomas) Caulfield, John (Heather) Doyle and Colleen (Robert) Bentcliff. He was the uncle of many nieces and nephews, Collin Koko, Abigail (Stanley) Woodworth, Ashley Rijkse, Robert (Taylor) Bentcliff, Bryce Bentcliff, Lance Bentcliff, Katelynn Bentcliff, Kenna Doyle, Pyper Doyle and great niece Maeple Woodworth.

As a child, Shawn enjoyed swimming, riding his big wheel and bowling. He liked his snacks which included Doritos, pizza, taco bowls from Taco Bell and fish sandwiches from McDonalds. You could often find him with a chocolate shake and more recently with an iced coffee. He was really into movies with the scariest ones being his favorites. There was Chucky, Nightmare on Elm Street, Children of the Corn and more. Not to mention all of his shows, Three Stooges, Little Rascals and Looney Tunes as some favorites.

Shawn spent a huge part of his life living at Zachary House, a home for adults with disabilities. Kim Phetsinor and the rest of the staff at Zachary House became his second family, along with all of the other residents that lived there. He was able to share his love of flirting with everyone around him. He was loved by so many. Shawn's life will be celebrated with a memorial gathering on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory in Bartlett, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donation via check to FISION NFP in Shawn’s name, a non- profit that helps special needs individuals started by the families of those that were at Zachary house where Shawn lived would be appreciated.
