Sharon Olenick

Sharon A. Olenick (nee Kurhais), 78, of Hanover Park died unexpectedly, but peacefully on Sunday, July 18, 2021. Born May 10, 1943 in Chicago, Sharon graduated from High School in Withee, Wisconsin and worked for United Airlines for 35 years until her retirement. Beloved mom of Stacey of Hanover Park, IL, and Scott of Columbus, Ohio, and loving daughter of the late Louis and Anna (nee Klabon) Kurhais, she will be missed by her family and friends, including her nieces Kelly, Laura, Carole, nephew Todd, and sister-in-law, Cil. She enjoyed gardening and cooking and will be remembered for her laughter, her kindness, and her fondness for a dirty joke. At Sharon’s request, no services are planned and cremation will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett.
