Sharon Lenahan

Sharon M. Lenahan (nee Ringenbach) of Hanover Park, passed away on December 8th at the age of 81. Sharon was born on April 18th, 1939 in Chicago to Theodore and Marion (Norum) Ringenbach. Sharon was the beloved wife of Joseph B. Lenahan for 65 years. She and her husband Joe ran J&S Carpets for many years. Visitors to her home were always greeted with a smile and an offer to share a special treat at the dining room table. She was known for her gift of storytelling and her love of family. Sharon was the loving sister of the late Judy Martin, James (Emily) Ringenbach, and Ted (Pam) Ringenbach. She is the loving mother of Joseph (Gina) Lenahan, Sue (John) Wurtz, Michael (Monika) Lenahan, Timothy (Maureen) Lenahan, Mary (Dan) Tuma, and the late Shawn (Karen) Lenahan. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Fond aunt to many special nieces and nephews. Sharon was an incredibly loving person who will be truly missed by all her family, neighbors, and many special friends. Cremation will be private at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, Bartlett, Il. Burial of her cremains will be in Bartlett Cemetery.
