Shannon Kelly-Detoni

Shannon Marie Kelly-Detoni, of South Elgin, passed away March 25th 2021, after an arduous battle with cancer. She was a caring mother to Samantha and beloved wife to Brian. She was surrounded by her family, whom she loved and cherished.

She was born to the late Timothy Kelly, and is survived by her mother Marcia. Shannon was born on December 27th 1965.

Shannon hosted the best parties, and always had a creative knack for making something out of nothing. She had a witty sense of humor, always retelling ‘dad jokes’ and teasing her loved ones. She had an abundant amount of knowledge and always gave the best advice. Shannon loved crosswords, Westies, gardening, cooking, making crafts- and best of all spending time with her loved ones. She will be forever missed and beloved by her family and friends.

Shannon Kelly-Detoni is survived by her husband Brian and daughter Samantha; as well as her mother Marcia, sister Kim Brazinski (Wayne) and brother Michael Kelly (Dana); she’s loved by many nieces and nephews, Emilie, Michael, Ryan, Margaret and Katie.
