Severina Cacao-Gardiola, 66, of Bartlett, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Born November 1, 1953 in the Philippines. Severina enjoyed traveling, good food, warm company, and looking stylish. She was very social and active in many associations. Her family and faith in Jesus Christ were very important to her. Beloved wife of the late Roberto De Sagun Gardiola; loving daughter of the late Francisco and Irene (nee Mayuga) Cacao; cherished sister of Julie (Christopher) Lee, Esther (Benjie) Paran, Marc Cacao, Marlon Cacao, Janet Cacao, Mylene (Ramil) Mayuga, Ben (Tess) Cacao and the late Asterio “Boy” Cacao; warmhearted stepmother of Dex (with son Rex) and Bejay (with wife Jean and son Gab); dear aunt of Christine (Aries), Aimee (John), Ben (Anna), Aries (Kaey), Jeb, Nico, Matthew and Chad; caring great aunt of Alana, Jordi, Alivia, Camilla, Lily, Levi and Esabella. Visitation 3:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Friday, August 28, 2020 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd (at Stearns Rd), Bartlett. Due to Covid restrictions, we are only allowed up to 50 people in the building at one time, but rotation of visitors will be permitted. Please be prepared to come in, pay your respects and then depart allowing others to do the same. Additionally, there will prayers and eulogies said at 7p.m. We are offering for this to be seen via Facebook live. Funeral Mass Saturday will be 10:00a.m. at Resurrection Catholic Church. Interment at Maryhill Cemetery.
