Sarah "Mary" Cushley

Sarah Mary (Morgan) Cushley was born in Belfast, Ireland on October 25, 1922. She was one of seven children of Peter C. and Margaret J. (Law) Morgan. Mary became a naturalized citizen of the USA in October 1957 and married her late husband Hugh Cushley in November 1957. They had one son, the late Daniel Cushley and two grandsons Brian Cushley and the late Christopher Cushley.
Early in life Mary served as a Lance Corporal in the British Military. In the Chicago area, she worked in marketing and then many years for the US Postal Service before retirement. She lived in Franklin Park, IL and many years in Medinah, IL.
Mary passed away peacefully on September 20, 2023, one month short of 101 years of age. She is survived by her grandson, two brothers, and a vast host of extended family and friends.
