Santo Urso

Santo "Sam" Urso, 92 of Elgin and Bartlett, IL died January 6, 2025. Sam was the beloved husband of Esther Urso (nee Cabrera) for 57 years; loving brother of Rita (Jack) Tricolli and Lorraine (the late Dennis) Mahoney, the late Florence (Ed) Mass, the late Mary (Charles) Kopp; proud uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law of Lupe (Charles) Mancuso, Carmen (the late Buddy) Milstead, Don (Carol) Cabrera, Lynn Cabrera and Jane Baugher. He will be missed by his close friends Rick “Nephew”, Carl and Louie.

Sam loved boat racing, flying airplanes, car racing, cooking, garage sales and flea markets. He also liked to go to dog shows. His love of Doberman Pinchers, especially “Chopper” and all animals.

He was loved by ALL, we will miss him very much.

In Sam’s memory donations to your favorite animal organization would be appreciated. He was the proud owner of his favorite Doberman the late “Chopper”.
