Sandra Parsons

April 23, 1943 — April 9, 2024

Sandra Parsons, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on April 9, 2024. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her lifelong friendships, positive spirit and for her gift of making others smile.

She is survived by her son Timothy and daughter Tammy; grandchildren Stephanie Kuzelka (and grand-son in law, Ryan Kuzelka) and Joshua Parsons; grandchildren Taylor, Hunter and Addisen Petersen, and great grand-children Mia and Rylee Kuzelka and Colson Parsons. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Delbert Parsons, her brother John and sisters Arlene and Marlyn, parents Boyd and Josephine Little of Pennsylvania, and many beloved in-laws, nieces, and nephews .

Sandra was known for her kindness and compassion towards others. Her warm smile and gentle spirit brought comfort to those around her. She had a heart full of love that she generously shared with everyone she met. She was active in her church and enjoyed the relationships and friendships that her church life brought her.

Family was the center of Sandra’s life, and she dedicated herself to caring for her loved ones with unwavering devotion. Her home was always open to family and friends, where she welcomed them with open arms and a listening ear. Her home was adorned with photos of her loved ones from floor to ceiling, and she enjoyed sharing the stories of her photos with friends and neighbors that visited. She was so proud of all of her children, grand and great grandchildren for all of their accomplishments. Her family holidays and dinners were her true joy; she lived for her grand and great grand-children and her friendships.

Sandra had a passion for writing as well as helping others – she was a social worker and gave the greatest advice to anyone who needed support. She was a sponsor through Al-Anon and had a passion for supporting others.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.), Bartlett. Funeral service on Tuesday , April 1 6 th at the funeral home at 10: 3 0am. The burial will follow directly at Bartlett Cemetery followed by a luncheon at Villa Olivia Country Club in Bartlett starting at noon. Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend.
