Visitation for Samuel Wayne Schmidt of Hoffman Estates, formerly of Schaumburg will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 3:00 - 9:00p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg. Saturday lying in state 10:00a.m. until time of service 11:00a.m. at Our Redeemer's United Methodist Church 1600 Schaumburg Rd. Schaumburg 60194. Following services, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory.
Born February 2, 1980 in Elk Grove Village, Sam died Monday September 30, 2013.
He is the loving father of Morgan Elizabeth; cherished son of Randall and Nancy nee Dooley; dear brother of Stacy, Carey (Mike) Coogan and Amanda (Josh) Longtin; great uncle of Colin and Matthew;many loving aunts, uncles and cousins; sweetheart of Tracy Somers. He will also be missed by his faithful companion Harley.
