Salvatore "Sam" Scianna, Jr., 63, of Streamwood. The funeral for Sam will be held at 10a.m. Tuesday, at Countryside Funeral Home 950 S. Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine. Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Born May 12, 1946 in Chicago Sam died Oct. 30 in Elk Grove Village. Sam loved to camp and fish. Sam was the beloved husband of Kim nee Noehre; loving father of Megan and Tony; dear brother of Joseph "Corky" (Gail), Anita (Richard) Franklin, the late Michael "Mickey" (the late Frances), Genevieve (the late Henry) Eccles, Josephine "Babe" ( the late Arthur) Ziemba, Ross (Elizabeth), Patricia (the late Salvatore) DiBenedetto, Sally (Roy) Oswald and Rosemary (Sterrie) Todorov; cherished son of the late Salvatore, Sr. and the late Josephine nee DiBebedetto; caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.
