Salvatore “Sal” Meccia, 75, of South Elgin. Beloved husband of Patricia R. Meccia nee Grube; Loving father of Kevin (Fran) Meccia, Michael Meccia, Dr. Salvatore “Sam” (Dr. Alexandria “Alex”) Meccia, and Paul (Michelle) Meccia; Proud grandfather of Bridget (Tommy) Hayes, Otto, Salvatore, Vincent, and Gus Meccia; Dear great grandfather of Madeline and Lily Hayes; Cherished brother of MM Frank Meccia and Vikki Ann (Steve) Truskowski. Uncle of many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, June 6, 3:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home 95 S. Gilbert Street (at Middle Road) South Elgin. Cremation took place at Countryside Crematory. Inurnment to take place in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
