Salvatore E. Lamonica

Salvatore “Sam” Lamonica, 75 of Hanover Park, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025. Born October 6, 1950, in Chicago. Sam was the proud owner of Sam’s Tax Service for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and was an avid Cubs, Crimson Tide and sports fan. Beloved husband of 44 years to Georgia (nee Adamopoulos); caring stepfather of Anthony Adamopoulos; loving father of Kathy (Chad) Yancy and the late Kimberly (late Scott) Yancy; cherished grandfather of Brandon Scott, Sarah, Tristian, Lauren (Josh) and great grandfather of Willow Kimberly. Memorial visitation from 12:00pm until time of memorial service 4:00pm on Saturday, December 6, 2025, the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 S Greenmeadows Blvd, Streamwood.
