Sally M. (Krause) Ruffing, 84 of Roselle, Illinois, born May 4, 1939 in Little Suamico, Wisconsin, passed away on January 18, 2024.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Mary Krause, her husband, Joseph R. Ruffing, her son, Jason D. Ruffing and her siblings, Phyllis (Marty) Mueller, Frank (Janie) Krause, Delores (Larry) Vander Meulen, Robert Krause, and Marian (Francis) Daniels.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Julie Zolidis, her grandchildren, Zachary Zolidis and Jackelyn Zolidis, her sisters, Shirley Wessley (Eugene), and Rosemary (Walter) Stachura, her sister-in-law, Joan Krause, loving nieces and nephews, her daughter- in-law, Katherine Ruffing and her stepson, Mark Rake (Kristina) and their children, Katie and Nathan and her friends from Wisconsin, Washington and Illinois.
Sally often said that laughter is the best medicine and will be remembered for her sense of humor. She enjoyed preparing special foods for family and friends and was always happy to volunteer to make one of her special soups to bring to church gatherings.

A memorial service celebrating Sally’s life will be held at Covenant Church of Schaumburg, located at 301 N. Meacham Road, Schaumburg, Illinois on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
