Sally M. McGuire (nee Schillo), 85, of Schaumburg, formerly of Chicago, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Sally was a huge Cubs fan who enjoyed wine and entertaining. Beloved wife of the late Alec McGuire and the late Gerald Cooney; loving mother of Dan (Andrea), Tim (Sandy), the late Cheryl (Jeff) Klein, and step mother of Paul (Sharon) McGuire; devoted grandmother of Gerald Klein, Nick (Leah) Klein, Nathan (Jenny) Cooney, Patrick Cooney, Joshua Cooney, Kelly (Patrick) Carbonel, Hannah (Lucia) Plyer, Audrey Cooney, Michael (Brooke) McGuire, and Lindsay (Matt) Sells; proud great grandmother of Autumn, Oliver, Noah, Milo, Zoey, Jackson, and Lucas; Sally was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, December 30 from 10:00am until time of Mass 10:30am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Mission 9711 W. Devon Ave., Rosemont, IL. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
