Sally Gallardo, 92, of Bartlett and formerly of Elmhurst and the South side of Chicago, born April 14, 1930 and passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022. Wife of the late Refugio "Coke" Gallardo; daughter of late Nell (Gonzalez) Castillo and late Frank Lopez; mother of Joseph Lawrence "J" Lopez (Terri Orozco), Candice Lopez (late Paul) Garcia, Diane
Lopez (Freddie) De Leon, Sheryl Lopez (Richard ) Termini, Teresa Lopez, Laura Gallardo (Roy)
Evans, Richard (Eve) Gallardo, Victoria Gallardo (Charles) LoRusso and the late Christine
Gallardo; grandmother of Christopher, Anthony, Jason, Christina, Deanna, Gianni, Amber,
Jessica, Joseph, Alexis, Krystal, Ezekiel and James; great grandmother of Shawn, Xavier,
Christopher, Nico, Ariana, Liliana, Callie, Roberto, Gianni, Vada, Sophia, Anastasia, Malcolm
and Addyson; sister of Irene (late Joseph) Jimenez, Richard L. (late Klara) Castillo, late Louis
(Simone) Lopez, late MaryLou (late Raymond) Cunningham, and late Carlos Edward "Jr." (Alma)
Castillo. Mother in law of Michele Gallardo. Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her family meant the world to her. She did a wonderful job raising her children and taking care of many others.
She was a tireless homemaker, cooking, cleaning, making clothes and sewing for everyone.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed swimming, crafts, crossword puzzles, playing Bingo, poker & watching sports,
with a little side betting of course. Sally was a friend to everyone she met. She had the best sense of humor.
Visitation Tuesday, May 10th 2022, 3:00 pm until time of service 7:00 pm at the Countryside
Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 South Bartlett Rd. (at Stearns Rd.) Bartlett. Following services cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
