Ruth Stark

Ruth E. Stark, 76, of Wauconda, formerly of Streamwood, died Saturday, August 7, 2010. Born August 20, 1933 in Chicago. Ruth was the daughter of Augusta and Maria Romano. Ruth enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and seeing the hummingbirds and dragonflies that it brought with it. She also enjoyed being with her family.
Survivors include children William R. (Diane) Stark of Cary and Joanne (Mark Hartwick) Hess of Fox Lake; grandchildren Tim (Sherlyn) Stark and Kelly and Linda Hess; great grandchild Glenn Stark and sister Patricia Colee.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years William J. Stark III and her parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 3-9p.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd (at Barrington Rd), Streamwood. Following the visitation, cremation will be private at the Countryside Crematory. Flowers would be appreciated and memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Chicago IL Office, 30 N.
