Ruth Schwenker

Ruth Baker Schwenker, 89, formerly of Elmhurst, died Saturday, September 14, 2013. Born October 15, 1923 in Chicago. She was the daughter of Arthur Sr and Loretta (nee Krause) Baker. Ruth enjoyed bowling, golfing and tending to the flowers in her garden. She will be missed by her family. Beloved mother of Kirk (Lynn) and Dow (Carol); loving grandma of Ryan and cherished aunt of Arthur Baker III. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Arthur Baker Jr. Visitation Friday, September 20, 2013 from 9:00a.m. until time of service 11:00a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 333 S Roselle Rd (1/4 mile south of Irving Park Rd), Roselle. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Old Country Care, c/o Maria Chladek, 6N432 Oakwood Dr, St Charles, IL 60174 would be appreciated.
