Ruth Rosenwinkel

Ruth Caroline Rosenwinkel (nee Landwehr), 99, died April 18, 2022. Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Harvey W. Rosenwinkel; loving mother of Marlene (Jim) Palmer; proud grandmother of Jennifer McNally and Sarah (David) Schultz; cherished great grandmother of William McNally and Nathan Schultz; dear sister of the late George, Margaret, Ervin and June. She will be missed by many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Born April 14, 1923, Ruth was originally from a farm in Bensenville before her family relocated to a farm in Elgin right along route 20. She worked at the Elgin Watch Factory. Ruth met her late husband Harvey at a dance above the Bartlett Tavern. They were married on March 4, 1946 at Immanuel United Church of Christ where they became life long members. During her married life they lived on a farm in Bartlett on Schick Road before moving to the town of Bartlett as it developed. Ruth was a hardworking farm girl devoted to her family and her church.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations to Immanuel United Church of Christ 415 W North Ave, Bartlett, IL 60103 would be appreciated.
