August 26, 1922 — July 11, 2021

Ruth N. Groff, 98, of Bartlett, Illinois, died peacefully on Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was born on August 26, 1922 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, to George and Lillie (Miller) Davidheiser. Ruth enjoyed cooking, baking, playing bridge, assembling jigsaw puzzles, and visits from her “granddogs” named CD, Bailey, Nizi, and Professor before they crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Her favorite outdoor activities were gardening and fishing with family and friends in Ontario and Wisconsin.

Ruth is survived by her son David (Jill) and her nieces Barbara, Dawn, Ginny, Joan, Lorraine, and Sandy. She was preceded in death by her husband Warren, parents George and Lillie, brothers Irving, Raymond, Ralph, Laverne, and Kenneth, and sisters Florence, Helen, Anna, Stella, and Gladys.
