Russel C. "Tap" Gach, 59, of Bartlett, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025. Tap was a Marine Veteran. He was a music lover who enjoyed playing guitar and was a known history fanatic who enjoyed making people laugh. Beloved husband of 21 years to Georgette Litchfield; dear step father of Eric DeLapp and Daryl (Abbie) DeLapp; proud grandfather of Kaylynn, Daisy, Elizabeth, Ruby, and Naomi; loving son of Carl and the late Rachelle (nee DeLinde) Gach; devoted brother of Kim Gach; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cremation private at Countryside Crematory. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin, IL.
