Roy W. Carter, born July 22, 1926 died March 25, 2016. Preceded in death by his wife Dolores in 2011; loving father of Shirley (Salah) Elgindy, Gloria (Bob) Jones, Daniel (Janet) Carter, Richard (Michelle) Carter, the late Lawrence Carter and the late Mark Carter; devoted grandfather of Joey, Michael, Amanda, Tiffany (Bryan) Ruffoni, Bryan Jones, Michelle, Daniel Jr. (Chelle), Melanie (Zachary) Vege, Felicia, Christopher (Meghann), Matthew, Nicole, Julia, Brendan and the late Lawrence Robin Jr. ; Great grandfather of Nathan, Bella, Anthony, Kyra, Jason, Gwendolyn, Noah, Ariana, Nathan, Grant, Piper and Trigg; fond brother of Velma (the late John) Schiuszi, the late JR (Sybil), the late Floyd (Josephine), the late Bert (Nancy) and the late Nora (the late Bill) Gradowski.

He was a proud member of the US Navy and retired from Cement Mason’s Union 502.
