Roxane Catanzaro

Roxane B. Catanzaro, 46, lost her battle with Alzheimer's Disease on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Beloved daughter of Paula (the late John, Sr.) Duros and John (Pam) Catanzaro; loving sister of Mike (Michalene) Catanzaro and Meagan (Bill) Mattern; cherished granddaughter of Margaret Byrom; fond aunt of Anthony, Frankie, and Mia Catanzaro and Emma Mattern; dear niece and cousin of many. Roxane was preceded in death by her stepfather John Duros, Sr., her grandparents Elvin and Reba Byrom, Anthony and Virginia Catanzaro, Steve and Rose Pappanduros, and her aunts Liz Byrom and Toni DiPego. Roxane graduated from Addison Trail High School in 1996 and moved into her own apartment the same year. She had support from Orchard Village in Skokie and did well living on her own, working, and being involved in her activities especially swimming, where she brought home gold medals many years. She was a social butterfly and will be dearly missed by everyone who had the opportunity to meet and know her.

Memorial visitation Friday, June 17, 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 95 S. Gilbert Street (at State Street) South Elgin. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm. Info (847)289-8054
