Rosemary Vandervelpen

Rosemary Ann VanderVelpen (nee Busa), 79, of Streamwood, formerly of Elk Grove Village. Rosemary was the beloved mother of Michael VanderVelpen and Cheryl VanderVelpen-Peneschi; loving grandmother of Christen (David Schneeberger), Rachel (Jakob Wright), Vincent and Alexis; proud great grandmother of Sophia, Joseph and Kayden; cherished sister of Constance Busa and the late Joseph (Geraldine) Busa. She will be missed by her granddog Gracie and many loving nieces and nephews.

Born May 3, 1935 Rosemary died December 30, 2014. Rosemary loved spending time with her family and cooking. She also enjoyed collecting recipes, playing piano and singing.

Visitation for Rosemary January 4, Sunday 2:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road) Bartlett. Funeral Monday 9:15a.m. to St. John the Evangelist Church Mass 10:00a.m. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
