Rose Nelson, 89, died February 16, 2022. Rose lived in the same house in Streamwood for 55 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Earl Nelson, Sr for 58 years; loving mother of Bernard Earl Nelson, Jr., Craig (Barbara) Nelson, Joan (Michael) Bobowski, Kathy (Allen) DeRossett and Peggy (Richard) Fischer; proud grandmother of Samantha, Aron, Jack, Kelli, Scott, Dustin, Tammy and Bernard; dear great grandmother of Danielle, Connor, McKenzie, Ava and Bodhi.
Rose enjoyed watching cooking shows on TV, traveling and doing Bible word searches. Both Rose and Bernard were members of the Elgin Seventh Day Adventist Church since 1974. She is also the proud grandma of 11 granddogs!
Burial will be private.
