Prayers for Rose Glowiak nee Pietrucha, 79, of Chicago will begin Saturday 8:45a.m. at the Countryside Funeral Home 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Rd.) Streamwood/Schaumburg to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mass 9:30a.m. Visitation will be held Friday 3:00 – 9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
Rose was born January 16, 1921 in Chicago and died January 4, 2009 at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.
She is the loving mother of Streamwood Fire Dept. Inspector Robert (Joyce) Freeman, cherished grandmother of Christopher (Tina) and Robert (Wendy) Freeman and Michelle (David) Miller, proud great grandmother of Tori Robinson, Alan, Kristina and Ashley Freeman and Troy and Brett Miller; dear sister of Edward Pietrucha of Chicago and Vera of Indiana.
Rose is preceded in death by her husband Walter.
