Rosanne Mary Abbate, 77, of Elgin, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Born July 26, 1939 in Chicago. Faith and family were the biggest part of Rosanne’s life. She will be missed. Beloved mom of John (Theresa) and Mandy Hauserman ; loving grandma of Michael, Steven, Leigh, Leslie, Kadie, Bradley, Sophia, Mischa; cherished great-grandma of Olive; dear daughter of the late Carl and Doris (nee Sbarbaro) Abbate and sister of Carl, Dee, Cliff and Chris Abbate and Elizabeth Stromme. Visitation Sunday 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 95 South Gilbert St (at State St), South Elgin. Funeral Monday 10:15a.m. to St Mary Catholic Church, Mass 11:00a.m. Private interment St Joseph Cemetery.
