Ronald Wilkes

Ronald Wilkes, 84, of Hanover Park; husband of the late Beverly, nee Christensen; father of Daniel (Ronda); grandpa of Colleen and Caitlin; brother of the late Justin "Jay", Karen and Melvin. Ronald was a long time member of the Hanover Park Lions Club. He was also very involved in the youth baseball and football programs in Hanover Park. He was a proud member of District 13 AA. He taught accouning in the Chicago Public Schools. He worked very hard to receive his doctorate from Northern Illinois University. Most of all, he loved being a grandpa, spending time with his granddaughters. Cremation private at the Countryside Crematory. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ronald will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Heartland Hospice would be appreciated.
